I had the pleasure of attending the "Empower Your Potential" event last Sunday, April 21st. This gathering of passionate women entrepreneurs came together to share their stories, connect, and celebrate their successes.

Dani Mestriner and Tai Oli organised the event to support other women in business. It was held in a warm and inviting space, and the atmosphere was exciting and energetic. The organisers wanted to create a space where women could feel empowered, inspired, and connected, and they succeeded in making that space

The highlight was the panel discussion featuring five successful women entrepreneurs: Laura Cacau, Emilie, Ive, Nadia, and Amandioka. These women shared their inspiring stories of overcoming challenges, achieving their goals, and building successful businesses. Their stories were full of wisdom and encouragement, motivating and empowering the audience.

In addition to the panel discussion, the event also featured networking opportunities, a delicious afternoon tea, and a raffle with prizes from local businesses. It was amazing to meet other women entrepreneurs and learn about their businesses.

Here are some of the key takeaways from the event:

  • Believe in yourself and your dreams. No matter what challenges you face, never give up on your dreams.

  • Don't be afraid to ask for help. There are many resources available to help women entrepreneurs succeed.

  • Connect with other women entrepreneurs. The support of other women can be invaluable.

  • Celebrate your successes. Take the time to appreciate your accomplishments, no matter how small they may seem.

  • Local Resources: Check your local council, chamber of commerce, or women's business centres. These organizations often host or promote networking events specifically designed for women entrepreneurs.

  • Online Platforms: Utilize online platforms like Meetup or Eventbrite to search for workshops, conferences, or networking events focused on female entrepreneurship.

Remember, attending networking events requires some preparation. Create a concise and impactful "elevator pitch" that summarises your business and its value proposition, it will help you introduce yourself and your business confidently during networking opportunities.
